The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in Saratoga Springs, NY commissioned us to create this amazing piece. Originally designed to be the 3-page cover for the museum's annual program guide celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Saratoga Racecourse. The image portrays in a panoramic setting the seven most famous race horses to have run in Saratoga from 1864 to 2013.
Left to right they are Exterminator, Kentucky, Man o'War, Whirlaway, Native Dancer, Secretariat, and Go For Wand. Also featured on the rail are the three founders of the racetrack, William R. Travers, John Morrissey, and Leonard Jerome (Winston Churchill's grandfather!)
