The 18th poster in this, the longest-running series of its kind, has just arrived. Just in time to announce what promises to be one of the most exciting racing seasons in Saratoga history. With the interest generated by the New York thoroughbred Funny Cide's possible Travers bid and the release of the major motion picture “Seabiscuit,” filmed in large part in Saratoga, this may well be a season for the record books. The 2003 Travers poster “First Race” celebrates the 134th running of the the Travers Stakes race in August and features a world-class view of a thoroughbred horse race from high in Saratoga’s classic clubhouse.
