Saratoga Coppertop (2020)

Architecture alone could set Saratoga Racecourse apart from all other sporting venues. The roofline of Saratoga's Clubhouse and Grandstand is recognized the world over. In 2019 a gleaming new structure was added to the track — the 1863 Club. Our 2020 poster shows the beautiful bridge that links the venerable Clubhouse to the shiny new 1863 Club. This little copper-topped gem truly links the past with the present.

Our 2020 poster, 'Saratoga Coppertop', shows the view from the third floor balcony of the 1863 Club suite closest to the finish line. One of the very best seats in the new house! From this vantage point it is easy to watch the 2019 Travers winner, Code of Honor with jockey, Johnny Velazquez, and grooms pass beneath the new bridge on the way to the track.

Travers is always a place to see and be seen. We tried to show the wonderful variety of race fans getting their best look at the runners. Visible in the distance are the iconic red and white striped awnings that help define Saratoga Racecourse spaces.

Two Poster Versions: This poster comes in both a Travers, and a Saratoga version. The artwork is the same on both posters, only the type changes. Look for the "Poster Version" pull-down menu above the price to see and select one.
